Amazon requires all affiliates to migrate from PA-API 5.0 to the new Creators API by January 30, 2026. This plugin now supports both APIs for a smooth transition:

• Creators API (New – Required from Jan 30, 2026): New authentication system, improved security with OAuth 2.0
• PA-API 5.0 (Legacy): Will be deprecated after January 31, 2026

How to Get New Creators API Credentials:

1. Log in to Amazon Associates Central
2. Navigate to Tools > Product Advertising API
3. Click on “Manage Credentials” or “Add Credentials”
4. Generate new Creators API credentials (Access Key and Secret Key)
5. Copy these credentials to the plugin settings
6. Select “Creators API” as your API version

Note: Your old PA-API 5.0 credentials will NOT work with Creators API. You must generate new credentials.

External Services

This plugin connects to the Amazon Product Advertising API (PA-API 5.0) and Amazon Creators API to retrieve product information, such as titles, images, prices, reviews, and discounts.

Data sent to Amazon:
– Keywords (search terms) based on the shortcode.
– Your Amazon API credentials (Access Key, Secret Key, and Partner Tag).

All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS.
