Increase your store sales through Word Of Mouth, by having people promote your products to their friends.

Compatible with WooCommerce from 2.4 and above, including the latest 7.x version of WooCommerce.

This plugin will create a simple but powerful referral system on your website. Instead of giving money to your referrals, you are rewarding them with coupons that they can use to get discounts when buying on your website, or even free products, depending on a coupon settings. Free version comes packed with lots of features, premium version has shortcodes, coupons for friends and a couple more options.

The plugin will create a unique link for each of your members, link that is visible on their account page. Members can use this referral link to invite people to your site, and every time someone comes to your site through their link and makes a purchase, you will reward them with a coupon. Simple as that.

Coupons Are Connected With WooCoupons. This Allows You To:

  • set the value of each coupon;
  • define the type of the coupon;
  • define the minimum order;
  • determine whether the coupon is product specific or not; (PREMIUM only)
  • set a coupon expiry date; (PREMIUM only)
  • award coupon to a friend as well; (PREMIUM only)

After order is marked as complete, coupon is sent to a person who referred you a customers. Every time referral receives a coupon, it will be shown on his account page and only he can use it.

As with our other plugins, refer a friend is coded with best practice, it is super light and will not slow down your site.

Coupons are created only once order is marked as complete, to prevent abuse.

Refer a Friend PREMIUM

Refer a Friend has also PREMIUM version that comes up with additional features:

  • Advance Shortcode to place referral link anywhere on the site.
  • Give coupon to person being referred as well and apply on first purchase OR give it for second purchase
  • Refer a Friend Woocommerce Tab under each product, that comes with share icons that can directly share referral links
  • Contact Form 7 shortcode
  • Each person has statistics how many people he refered, admin sees this for each person as well
  • Order details screen shows referral info if order was made through referral.
  • Referral statistics/info screen for admin.
  • Enable coupons for specific products only
  • Set Expiry date for each coupon
  • More filters and actions for developers

Instalacija

  1. Upload the Refer a Friend plugin to your site, Activate it.
  2. Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Refer a friend tab to set it up.
  3. Now every customer will have referral link under “My Account” page.
  4. Start earning more money! 🙂

Works, but important function is missing and support is very bad

Like my title, the plugin works but important functions are missing - e.g. to mark a coupon as invalid in case of order refund. Without these you cannot use this plugin on big onlineshops with lot of orders. You have to spend too much time to check this and deactivate coupons manually if necessary. The developer does not respond to any emails either. I use free and pro version.

Bought Premium but does not work

I bought the Premium version of this product however, after days of troubleshooting and trying to get it to work, it is a No Go. Have had few emails exchanged with the team to help me get it implemented on my site but have stopped getting reply from them as well now. By no means, I would want to leave a bad review for someone's effort to make this product but this has not worked and I am not getting any response. Please assist if it is possible or doable. Goran was a great help. Thanks for fixing it.

Hey guys, I just finished testing this plug in (premium) on my staging. It passed tests. An hour later, i've installed it on prod and tested. It can get a bit hairy keeping your head on straight on what happens when. But basically do the following to test properly. 1. Create a zero dollar test product (pw protect it from view) 2. add above product to your accepted in cart list for the refer a friend coupon 3. if you use the 'refereree will get a coupon upon first purchase', on a product, make sure that coupon INLCLUDES your zero dollar product in it's 'acceptable cart items' list or it will throw up a nasty message during check out by the refereree. 4. continue with your test purchase by the refereree. It will be successful. BUT it the referer coupon will be in pending state UNTIL the refereree purchase gets cleared in the shop owner order dashboard. Click on 'check mark' box under action. 5. go back to the referer dashboard and now you will see the coupon has been approved You should now receive the following emails: - refereree purchase (sent to both refereree and shop owner) - referer coupon - refereree bonus (post first purchase) coupon The emails are nice looking too! ++++++++++++++ issue ++++++++++++++ Facebook share link makes assumption to share the domain that the plugin is installed on (site b) (not like the twitter portion which allows you to add your handle). I use this referrals to promote my other web page (site a). So in FB share, site b shows up instead of site a. You just need to add a FB address field to the share config.
