Is the plugin really free?

Yes, the plugin is completely free. It’s part of the upload.am platform, which allows you to upload up to 10 files at once, with each file up to 2 GB in size. You get 25 GB of free storage in total.

How long can I store files for free?

Free users can store their files for up to 30 days. If you have a large project and need longer storage, email us at wordpress@upload.am. Include a brief description of your website, your website URL, and your upload.am username. We’ll gladly extend your storage time for free.

Can I purchase more storage?

Absolutely. You can upgrade your account anytime. The upgrade will be applied automatically after payment. For current pricing plans, visit https://upload.am.

Is bandwidth unlimited?

We offer reasonably unlimited bandwidth. This means up to 1.5 TB of traffic per month per account is fine. If your usage exceeds this, we may take measures to ensure fair use and service stability.

Do you support Gutenberg and the Classic Editor?

Yes! Our plugin supports both Gutenberg and Classic Editor. We personally recommend using the Classic Editor for smoother integration.

Do you support shortcodes?

Yes, you can use shortcodes to embed uploads or display links directly in your posts/pages.

Is there a download limit for users?

No. There are no daily or hourly download limits for end users. However, excessive or abusive usage may result in temporary restrictions to maintain platform performance.

Is there advertising on the download page?

No, all download pages are ad-free. We focus on a clean, fast, and user-friendly experience.

Are my files and data safe?

Yes. We work with top-tier infrastructure providers and constantly update our security protocols. Your data is encrypted and securely stored in European data centers.

Can I upload anything I want?

You can upload any legal file type. However, we strictly prohibit the following: child pornography, bestiality, abuse or exploitation of children, calls for violence, hate speech or illegal content. Violations will result in permanent bans. Child exploitation content will be reported to law enforcement and international watchdog organizations — guaranteed.

Sometimes I get a 401 error while uploading. Why?

This isn’t a critical error. Our system refreshes your login session periodically to keep it secure. Depending on your hosting setup, you may occasionally need to log in again via the plugin. Your files are safe and will not be lost.

Is the VPN really free?

Yes, our VPN service is completely free. To use it: Download the OpenVPN client, log into your account at upload.am, download your personal VPN configuration file and connect.

What about VPN geolocation and traffic logging?

We constantly update our available VPN locations. All logs are completely disabled — we do not monitor or store any user data or traffic history.

Is Upload.am an anonymous file host?

Upload.am is an Armenian-based platform that positions itself as a secure, fast, and reliable cyberlocker. While we respect user privacy, we also fully comply with international laws and do not tolerate abuse or illegal activity.

Do you offer a public API?
