NovoVerify – Product Authenticity Check

Opis

Counterfeits hurt your brand and your customers. NovoVerify gives every product a unique code and lets buyers check it on your own website: they type the code from the label, or scan its QR code, and see right away whether the code is registered by you.

Everything runs in your own WordPress database. There is no external API, no account to create and no per-check fee.

How it works

1. Add your codes (one by one, pasted as a list, or imported from a CSV file).
2. Print each code on a product or its label. A QR code can open your check page with the code already filled in.
3. Customers enter or scan the code and see one of these results:
   • Authentic product – the code is registered and checked for the first time.
   • This code was checked before – the code is registered but has been checked before. The number of earlier checks and the date of the first check are shown.
   • This code may have been copied – the code was checked more often than your warning threshold.
   • Code not found – there is no such code.
   • This code has been disabled – you revoked the code.
4. Every check is logged, so you can see what customers check and spot copied codes.

NovoVerify helps customers spot copied or invented codes. Like any code system, it cannot by itself guarantee that a physical product is genuine, so keep your codes private until they are printed.

Free features (no limits)

There is no limit on the number of codes, checks or sites, and no time limit.

• Code management – add, edit, revoke, reactivate and delete codes; search, filter by status or batch, sort, page through and use bulk actions.
• Import and export – paste a list of codes or import a CSV file (code, product name, batch). Duplicates and invalid rows are skipped and reported. Large files are imported in small parts with a progress bar. Export your codes as CSV at any time.
• Check form – add it with the “NovoVerify Check” block or the [novoverify_check] shortcode. Mobile friendly and accessible (keyboard, screen readers, high contrast).
• QR links – a link such as https://example.com/verify/?novoverify_code=VX7K-92LM fills in and checks the code automatically.
• Your own messages – change the text of every result, with placeholders for the code, the number of checks, the first check date and the product name.
• Flexible matching – ignore spaces and hyphens, choose case sensitivity, set the warning threshold.
• Protection against guessing – a per-visitor limit on checks per minute and hour, plus a hidden spam trap. Works behind Cloudflare and other proxies.
• Check log – the latest checks with their results, with automatic clean-up after a period you choose.
• Getting Started screen – create the check page with one click.
• Privacy friendly – visitor IP addresses and browser details are stored only as one-way hashes; a suggested privacy policy text is added to WordPress.
• Translation ready – available in 10 languages: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, Japanese and Polish. Custom result texts can be translated with WPML or Polylang.

NovoVerify Pro

NovoVerify Pro is an optional paid add-on version for brands that need more. The free version stays fully functional without it.

• Bulk code generation – create thousands of random, unique codes at once, with prefix and grouping. Characters that are easy to mix up (0, O, 1, I, L) are never used.
• QR codes and labels – download QR codes as PNG or SVG in a ZIP file and print A4 label sheets (or save them as PDF).
• Statistics – checks per day, results, most checked codes, suspicious codes and countries (when your server or CDN provides the country).
• E-mail alerts – get an e-mail when a code is checked suspiciously often (at most one per code per day).
• Product details – show a product image, production and expiry dates and a description with authentic results.
• WooCommerce – link codes to products to show the product name, image and a link to the product page.
• Design – three styles, your logo, colors and corner radius.
• Advanced check log – filter by result, code, country and date, and export to CSV.

Pro is available for $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year for one site, with a 7-day free trial that does not require a credit card.

Freemius (optional)

NovoVerify uses the Freemius SDK for licensing and for the optional Pro upgrade. After activation, WordPress asks whether you want to opt in to receive update and security notifications and to share basic, non-sensitive data about your site with the plugin author through Freemius (for example your WordPress and PHP versions, site URL and admin e-mail). This is entirely optional: choose “Skip” and the plugin works the same, and nothing is sent. You can change your choice later on the Plugins screen. The check form itself and your codes and check logs never leave your site.
